Carson’s vast vocal range cuts through with songs that beat to the heart of traditional country, southern rock, and gospel music. Beyer’s intricately composed music can at times cover a lot of ground, yet still maintains a simple message.
Growing up in Paducah, Kentucky both music and football were huge parts of Beyer’s upbringing. With the odds stacked against him, he walked on and earned a spot on the Murray State football team. After college, Carson determined to put music at the forefront of his future began taking trips to Nashville. In Carsons very first writing session his debut single “Bones” came to life, a song he dedicated to his late grandfather. Carson continued to write and crafted several songs with Casey Beathard (Eric Church, George Strait, Kenny Chesney). His music caught the attention of Hard 8 Working Group management (Brantley Gilbert, Michelle Branch) and they signed him in 2017.
For Beyer it was essential to carve out a sound he could call his own. When it was time to record his first songs with producer Serg Sanchez at the helm, the decision was made to step out of the norm and go into a studio in Athens, Georgia with a diverse group of musicians behind him. The result was songs that have an unbridled charge and aim for the heart.
